Give and Take
CLDW staff got a meaningful weekend! We have been to the IDEAL Walkathon 2015 and raised over HK$12,000 for people with intellectual disabilities. With the spirit of “Give and Take”, we feel happy that we can help to raise fund and arise people’s awareness on the needs of people with intellectual disabilities but also got deeper reflection of how we can help people in need in this society.

CTM Flagship Store named Five Star Awards, Best Retail Interior in Asia Pacific Property Awards 2015-2016
We
took pride to announce our winning design project at Asia Pacific
Property Awards for CTM Flagship Store in the Retail Interior
category. It is the fourth consecutive years that we have been
awarded in the prestigious Asia Pacific Property Awards. The award
presentation took place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on
May 8, 2015, in celebration of the best developments, architecture
and interior design from across the length and breadth of The Asia
Pacific region. Leading property professionals behind these
outstanding projects were invited to attend the presentation ceremony
in association with Grohe, Luxury Portfolio International and ES
Elite Stone to receive their accolades. Now entering their 21st year,
the International Property Award is the world’s most prestigious
property competition and cover residential as well as commercial
categories.
Judging
was carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of
over 60 experts covering every aspect of the property business. The
CTM Flagship Store won the Five Star Awards in the category of Best
Retail Interior. With the remarkable achievement, Clifton Leung
Design Workshop has demonstrated itself at the forefront of the
interior design industry in Asia Pacific, and ready to move forward
to the global level.

Clifton’s Picks for Le French May
Hong Kong is having the popular art event of the year, Le French May! As a fan of art and design, Clifton has spotted some event on his schedule and would like to share his recommendations!
1. Wipe Out
The controversial French artist Invader is famous for his pixilated mosaic. His creative works will be exhibited from May 2-17 in PMQ. We don’t have to scare his works will be removed from the wall by the city again!
2. Le Corbusier- Modern Architect Giant
Le Corbusier, a Swiss-French architect, designer, painter, is known for his influence in modern architecture. An exhibition about his engagement in art and his production as an architect will be held from May 5 to 28 in Exhibition Hall, Hong Kong City Hall, where he pionerred as international style.
3. Water Light Grafitti
Water Light Grafitti is a LEDs wall that reacts when exposed to the water and thus allow us to draw on it with the lights. The exhibition will be held from May7 to June 7 in Open Piazza, Hopewell Center.
4. Colours of Fragrance- Works of Walasse Ting
The exhibition features 25 pieces of works by Walasse Ting from 1968 to 1990. Walasse born in China and settled in France when he was 23 years old. His works were mainly a plainlack abstract work made up of Chinese cursive calligraphy lines and western oil paint which implied a strong Oriental spiritual connotation. The exhibition will be held from May 13 to May 30 in Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery in Central.
